Pricing guide
What branded uniforms actually cost
There is no price list on this site, and that is deliberate. A real number depends on four things: the garment, how the logo goes on, the setup, and how many you order. Here is how each one moves the quote, so the number makes sense when it arrives.
The short version
- How it is priced
- One price per garment, decoration included. GST and freight on their own lines.
- Logo setup
- Embroidery only: one setup covers your garments at the same logo size, kept on record. Reorders of the same gear skip it.
- Minimum order
- None on stitching or standard transfer.
- Turnaround
- About 5–21 working days from artwork approval, couriered NZ-wide.
The quote
One price per garment, decoration included
Your quote gives one price for each garment, with the logo already on it, for each size run. You see what a polo costs you finished, not a garment price and a branding price to add together. GST and freight are shown as their own lines.
Cost drivers
What moves the number
Four things set the price of a branded garment. None of them is hidden, and each one is something you have a say in.
The garment
Brand, fabric and weight. A budget tee and a heavy work shirt are different starting points before any logo goes on. If you are not sure what you need, tell us what the gear has to survive and we will quote two or three options at different prices.
How the logo goes on
How much does custom embroidery cost? Ask how much to embroider a logo and the first question back is how big it is, because embroidery is priced on stitch count, which is how much thread the design takes. A small left-chest logo and a full back piece are different numbers. Printed transfers are priced on the size of the design, and colour count does not change the price: a full-colour logo and a one-colour one press the same. Embroidery is stitched in-house; transfers are printed by a trusted partner and pressed in-house on our own heat press.
The setup
Before a logo can be stitched, it has to be turned into a stitch file, the instructions the machine follows. That is the setup, and it is a one-off: we keep your setup on record, so a reorder of the same gear never pays for the setup again. One file runs across flat garments at the same logo size. Caps stitch differently and need their own, and so does a much larger logo, because it is not just the same stitching enlarged. Printing skips this step.
Quantity
There is no minimum on stitching or standard transfer: one shirt or two hundred. Larger runs price better per unit because the setup work is spread further, and we will tell you where the next price break sits. A very small order carries a handling charge, shown on the quote, because setting up a job takes much the same work for one garment as for fifty. The one exception to no minimum is speciality transfer film, which our transfer partner runs in minimum quantities. That film is used for reflective and fluorescent logos, technical jackets, heat-sensitive fabrics and polyester that bleeds its dye.
How each method works, in more detail: embroidery and printing.
Embroidery pricing is an estimate. The exact stitch count — and final price — is confirmed after a one-time logo setup (digitising), charged once per stitch file and kept on record, so reorders of the same gear skip it.
Two ways to start
Ready to get started?
Most quotes go back the same business day. There is no obligation and no minimum order.
Or call 021 082 12843 — Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm.
What happens next
- 1. You send rough numbers and what the team does.
- 2. We come back with garment options and a price per garment, decoration included, usually the same business day.
- 3. Once you go ahead, we confirm logo size and placement in writing before anything goes into production.
Worth knowing
Three ways to keep the price down
These are the choices that change the number most for the least difference in what you end up wearing.
One logo size across the order
Flat garments carrying the logo at the same size share one setup, so a polo and a jacket with the same chest logo pay for the setup once. Caps are the exception and always need their own.
One run, not several
A single larger run prices better per unit than the same garments ordered in small batches, and it keeps clear of the small-order handling charge.
Fewer placements per garment
Each extra placement is its own stitching or its own transfer. A chest logo on its own costs less than a chest logo, a sleeve mark and a back panel.
Most of what we brand is on the products page, and one-off orders for individuals have their own page. Deposits and payment are set out in full in our terms of trade.
Questions
What people ask about price
If yours is not here, ask when you request a quote and you will get a straight answer.
Why are there no prices on the website?
Because a real number depends on the garment, how the logo goes on, the setup and the quantity, and a list price would be wrong for most people. Send through what you need and you will get a price per garment, usually the same business day, with GST shown separately.
Is GST included in the quote?
Your quote shows GST as its own line, so you can see the price before and after it.
Do you take a deposit?
Yes. A deposit covers what we have to commit to your order up front: the garments, the transfers, and the setup if your logo needs a new stitch file, plus part of the balance. The figure is on your quote, and the rest is due on completion, before dispatch. The detail is in our terms of trade.
Is there a minimum order?
No. One shirt or two hundred. Larger runs price better per unit, and a very small order carries a handling charge, shown on your quote, because the setup work is much the same for one garment as for fifty. Speciality film is the one exception to no minimum. It is used for reflective and fluorescent logos, technical jackets, heat-sensitive fabrics and polyester that bleeds its dye, and our transfer partner runs those films in minimum quantities: ten transfers of each design at each size, twenty for fluorescent. That is transfers rather than garments: one logo on each shirt means ten or twenty shirts, though a shirt carrying four of the same sleeve band is four transfers, so five shirts reaches twenty. Standard full-colour transfer has none, and the quote says which your garment needs. If a job needs fewer of a design, the full run is still printed, the spares are charged at cost with no markup, and they are yours, sent with the order or held for your next one.
How much is freight?
It depends on the size of the order and where it is going, and it is quoted as its own line. Everything leaves by courier, Auckland included. There is no pickup.
