What we brand

Which work uniforms do we brand?

Most teams start with a shirt and build out from there.

We will help you pick workplace uniforms that suit the actual work, then brand them the same way across everyone, so a new starter in six months still matches the rest of the crew. Branded clothing is only as good as the work clothing it goes on, which is why we start with the garment rather than the logo.

Ordering one for yourself rather than a team? That is fine too — no minimum order. Custom and personalised clothing for individuals.

What garments sit under the branding?

Blanks from New Zealand wholesale apparel brands, with stock held here.

Where the garments come from

We are not a garment factory and do not pretend to be. Blanks come from New Zealand wholesale apparel suppliers with stock held here, which is what makes quick reorders and consistent sizing possible. Sizing runs across women's and men's work clothes in the same styles, so a mixed team still looks like one team. If you already have garments, we can decorate those.

Why there is no catalogue to browse

We work as a uniform company rather than a uniform store: there is no rack to browse and no catalogue to flick through, because the right garment depends on what the work does to it.

What we handle for you

Tell us what the team actually does — front-of-house polos, or heavy work wear for a site crew — and we take it from there. Sourcing, garment selection, sizing and branding all sit with us. All you need to do is approve the quote.

Decoration methods

How does your logo go on?

Two methods, and the right one depends on your artwork and the fabric.

If you are not sure, send the logo through and we will tell you straight which method will look better on the garment.

Embroidery

Stitched in-house

Stitched here in our own workshop with polyester thread, so it holds colour through commercial and industrial laundering.

Perfect for

  • Polos, caps, work shirts and jackets
  • Logos that need to last years, not months
  • Anything facing a commercial or industrial wash

Why it works

  • Polyester thread keeps its colour instead of fading
  • A raised, textured finish that reads as considered
  • Nothing to crack or peel off the fabric later

Printing

Heat pressed here

Heat transfer and DTF. The transfers are printed by a trusted partner, then pressed onto the garment here on our own heat press.

Perfect for

  • Full-colour or photographic artwork
  • Large prints across the back
  • Lightweight tees and singlets

Why it works

  • Holds fine detail that stitching would lose
  • Adds no weight to thin fabric
  • Keeps edges sharp on complicated logos
How our printing works

No small print

What we do in-house

Embroidery is stitched in-house, and heat transfers are pressed in-house on our own heat press. The transfers themselves are printed by a trusted partner. We would rather tell you than let you assume.

Why Uniformly

Why do businesses stay with us?

Because the person who quotes your job is the person who decorates it.

You don't need to know about garments. That's our job.

We do the whole job, not just the stitching. Tell us what the team does and we source the garments, recommend what actually suits the work, sort the sizing and handle the branding. You do not need to know what a 210gsm pique is, or which supplier has stock this month. All you need to do is approve the quote.

01

The embroidery happens here

Your gear is not handed down a chain of middlemen. We run the machine, so we control the quality, we can see where your job is at, and if something is not right it gets fixed by the same person who decorated it. One point of contact from quote to courier.

02

Built to survive the wash

Uniforms get washed hard, often commercially. We use polyester embroidery thread and transfers that hold up to commercial washing, because decoration that cracks or fades after ten washes costs more than it saves.

03

Reorders are the easy part

Once your logo is set up, we keep that setup on record. Two new staff in March means you send an email with sizes, not a fresh setup fee and another round of proofs. Your placements and thread colours stay consistent year after year.

Usually same-business-day replies, Mon–Fri. No minimum order.

Industries

Which industries do we supply staff uniforms for?

Different trades wreck uniforms in different ways, so the garment changes with the job.

A kitchen destroys fabric with heat and bleach; a site destroys it with abrasion and sun; a clinic needs gear that survives a hot industrial wash without losing its shape. We pick garments and branding with that in mind.

On site that means knowing which hi-vis class a job signs off against — the AS/NZS 4602.1 high-visibility standard (opens in a new tab) published by Standards New Zealand, alongside the PPE guidance from WorkSafe New Zealand (opens in a new tab).

Whether it is business uniforms for one office, workforce uniforms across several sites, or teamwear for a club, the process is the same — and your branded uniforms stay consistent from the first order to the fifth.

Two ways to start

Ready to get started?

Most quotes go back the same business day. There is no obligation and no minimum order.

Or call 021 082 12843 — Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm.

What happens next

  1. 1. You send rough numbers and what the team does.
  2. 2. We come back with garment options and a price per garment, decoration included, usually the same business day.
  3. 3. Once you go ahead, we confirm logo size and placement in writing before anything goes into production.

How it works

How does ordering actually work?

Four steps, and nothing goes into production until you have approved a proof.

  1. Step 1

    Tell us what you need

Rough numbers, what the work involves, and your logo if you have it. A photo of an existing uniform is plenty to start with.

  2. Step 2

    We quote it properly

Garment options that suit the job, a price per garment with the branding already in it, and a realistic lead time. Not a number pulled out of the air.

  3. Step 3

    You confirm the placement

Once the order is placed we confirm your logo size and placement in writing. Nothing is decorated until you have approved it, so the first garment comes out the way you expected.

  4. Step 4

We decorate it and courier it

Around 5–21 working days from that approval, to your door anywhere in New Zealand. Then your setup stays on record for the next round.

Not sure what you need yet? Send through what the team does and request a quote — you will get a shortlist of garment options and a price per garment back, with no obligation.

Where we work

Where do we deliver custom uniforms?

All of Auckland from one North Shore workshop, and the rest of the country by courier.

We are based in Glenfield on the North Shore and look after businesses right across Auckland. Because everything is decorated then couriered, being outside the city changes nothing except the delivery leg.

Outside Auckland, we send work uniforms and custom workwear anywhere in New Zealand, including the South Island. See how NZ-wide delivery works.

Pricing

What do custom uniforms cost?

Every job is quoted, because the garment, the branding and the quantity all move the number.

The pricing guide walks through what actually drives a quote — garment, branding, logo setup and run size — so nothing lands as a surprise.

Before you ask

How long does a custom uniform order take?

Around 5–21 working days from artwork approval. Simple reorders with stock on hand sit at the quick end; new logos, larger runs or garments we need to bring in sit at the longer end. We give you a realistic date with the quote rather than an optimistic one.

Is there a minimum order?

No. One shirt is a perfectly good order, and so is two hundred. Larger runs simply get better per-unit pricing because setup is spread further. A very small order carries a handling charge for the same reason — the setup work behind a job is much the same whether it covers one garment or fifty. The charge is shown on your quote, not added afterwards.

What happens when I need more for new staff?

Your setup stays on record, so a reorder is an email with sizes. No repeat setup fee and no new proof round, and the placement matches what your team is already wearing.

Get a quote

Ready to kit out your team?

Tell us roughly what you need and the quote comes back, usually the same business day.

No obligation, and no minimum order. If you would rather talk it through first, the phone number is right here.

What do you need? *
Your logo

Send your logo through to hayden@uniformly.co.nz once you have submitted this and we will match it to your enquiry. Vector artwork — .svg, .ai, .eps or .pdf — is ideal, and a decent .png or .jpg is usually fine. Large files are no problem by email.

On embroidery pricing: any embroidery figure we give from a logo file is an estimate. The exact stitch count, and the final price, is confirmed after a one-time logo setup at the size you want it — charged once at that size and kept on record, so reorders of the same gear skip it.

We reply usually the same business day, Mon–Fri.
