One-off and personal orders
Personalised clothing for one-off and personal orders
Most of what we do is business uniforms, but you do not need a business to order. Personalised apparel for one person — a shirt for a stag do, a hoodie with your club crest, a jacket with a name on the back — runs on the same machines as a fifty-piece staff order, just smaller. There is no minimum, and nothing about the quality changes because the quantity did.
Decorated in Glenfield, couriered to you — Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm.

No business required
Custom clothing for individuals, one item at a time
One-off custom clothing gets the same bench, the same thread and the same press as a staff order.
The rest of this site is written for businesses, because that is most of the work. This page is the door for everyone else — one person, one idea, one garment. Nothing about how we do it changes; there is just less of it.
One is a real order
There is no minimum and there never has been. One custom shirt is a job we will quote and decorate. Larger runs get a better per-unit price, which is arithmetic rather than a rule about who we take on.
Your garment, or ours
Send something you already own and we will decorate it, or we will source a blank from the same New Zealand wholesalers the business orders come from. Either way you are picking the garment, not choosing from a catalogue of what is left.
Built to survive the wash
Polyester embroidery thread and transfers chosen to hold up to commercial laundering. A personal order gets the same materials as gear that goes out to a work site every day, because there is only one way we do it.
Not a slogan — a specification. Polyester embroidery thread is made for commercial washing, and Madeira's Polyneon data sheet puts its colourfastness at 4–5 out of 5 washing at 95°C under ISO 105-C04. A single item gets the same thread as a fifty-piece order.
If you need it in your hands this week, we are probably not your best bet. Decorating runs about 5–21 working days from artwork approval, and the courier leg sits on top of that. Tell us the date you are working to when you ask and you will get a straight answer on whether it is doable.
What people order
Personalised t-shirts, hoodies and the rest of the range
Personalised hoodies and tees are most of what one-off orders land on, but anything on the product pages can be done as a single item. Each page below covers the fabrics, the fits and where a logo actually sits best on that garment.
Which method suits your order is a question about your artwork and the fabric, not about how many you ordered.
Two ways to start
Ready to get one made?
Most quotes go back the same business day. There is no obligation and no minimum order.
Or call 021 082 12843 — Mon–Fri 8:30am–5:30pm.
What happens next
- 1. You send what you are after and roughly how many.
- 2. We come back with garment options and a price per garment, decoration included, usually the same business day.
- 3. Once you go ahead, we confirm logo size and placement in writing before anything is decorated.
How it works
How a one-off order actually runs
Whether you want to make your own shirt for a single occasion or get a dozen hoodies done for a club, it is the same three steps.
Step 1
Tell us what you are after
The garment, the artwork or the idea, and how many. A phone photo of a logo is enough to start a conversation — we will tell you whether it needs work before it can be stitched or pressed.
Step 2
We quote it per garment
One price per garment with the decoration already in it, plus a one-time setup if we have not already set your logo up at that size. Most quotes go back the same business day.
Step 3
We confirm placement, then decorate it
Logo size and position confirmed in writing before anything is decorated. Then the order is stitched or pressed here, packed, and couriered to you with tracking.
On embroidery, a price is an estimate until the logo is digitised. The exact stitch count — and with it the final price — is only known once your logo, at the size you want it, has been turned into machine instructions by a one-time setup. That setup is charged once at that size and kept on record, so coming back for the same piece later skips it entirely. The same setup covers other garments at that logo size; a cap needs its own.
Questions
Questions people ordering one thing ask
If yours is not here, ask when you request a quote and you will get a straight answer.
Is there really no minimum order?
Yes, really. One item is a real order and it gets quoted the same way a hundred would. What quantity changes is the per-unit price — setup and handling get spread across more pieces on a bigger run, so a single item costs more each than a batch does. Part of that shows up as a handling charge on a very small order, because the setup work behind a job is much the same for one garment as for fifty. You will see it on the quote rather than after. That is arithmetic, not a penalty for ordering one.
Can I send you a garment I already own?
Yes, and plenty of people do. We will decorate something you already own or have bought elsewhere. Tell us what the fabric is when you ask, because not everything takes a heat transfer, and a garment that has already been worn and washed can behave differently under a press than a fresh blank does.
Do you make custom made clothing from scratch?
No. We are not a manufacturer and we are not tailors — we do not cut, sew or alter garments. What we do is source quality blanks from New Zealand wholesalers and decorate them with your logo or artwork. If you need something made to measure, you want a clothing maker, and telling you that now saves us both a phone call.
What does a one-off cost?
Every job is quoted, so there are no prices published here. Three things set the number: which garment you pick, whether the artwork is embroidered or printed, and a one-time setup if we have not already set your logo up at that size. Send through what you are after and it comes back priced per garment, usually the same business day.
Can I come and pick it up?
No. There is no shop, no showroom and no walk-ins — the workshop is not set up for visitors. Everything goes out by courier with tracking, Auckland included, so the answer is the same wherever in the country you are.
Do you do screen printing?
No. We do two things: embroidery, stitched in-house on our own machine, and heat transfer or DTF, pressed in-house on our own press — the transfers themselves are printed for us by our transfer partner. If a job genuinely wants screen printing, we will say so rather than talk you into something we do.
Do you do personalised promotional products?
Apparel, yes — decorated tees, hoodies, caps and bags are exactly the sort of thing that gets handed out at an event. Pens, mugs and drink bottles, no. We decorate garments and that is the whole list, so if you need the full merchandise spread you will want a promotional supplier alongside us.
Can you design my logo, or copy artwork I have found?
We do not do graphic design, and we can only decorate artwork you have the right to use — a band logo, a sports crest or a cartoon character off the internet usually belongs to somebody. We will tell you honestly whether a file will work on a garment and we handle the setup and placement, but the design itself needs to come from you or a designer. The better the file you send, the easier everything after it gets.
Tell us what you want made and we will quote it
Usually same-business-day replies, Mon–Fri. One item is a real order.
